2019... Where to begin?

I started the year with a neat little bump … I ended the year watching said bump's eyes light up when his dad opened his favourite present from Santa; a teddy bear.

No year is perfect and there have definitely been lessons learnt (sleep when the baby sleeps, especially after a third degree tear and two blood transfusions) but, all in all, this year has been incredible.

I had my little boy. Me and Nate finally made it down the alter. I stopped procrastinating on things I should have started years ago.

Obviously you can set goals at any point during the year but I'm always happy to jump on the bandwagon and start in December/January. It's nice to go into the new year with some sense of direction.

So here are a few goals I have for 2020:

1. Improve my overall health and diet.

I know it's so cliché but I'm not going to commit to any particular diet or a join a gym (I don't have time), but I do need listen to my body more and just cut down the crap (she says whilst tucking into a packet of chocolate buttons)!

2. Create more online content.

I know a lot of people try and commit to spending less time behind the screen, but I won't kid myself...Since I'm often faffing around online, I should at least try to create more content. I love doing YouTube and I love being creative, but I spend more time watching other creators instead of actually taking the time to create and upload content.

3. Save for a holiday.

I'm lucky to live in the countryside and by some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK, but I also love to travel. However, since I'm not particularly fussed on the idea of taking a baby on a plane, I'm happy to venture to anywhere in the UK that has good food and a pretty view.
